For me, it starts with an inspiration and finishes with a signature.
By faith, we believe and know that Jesus finished His work on earth dying on wooden cross. Publicly blamed for things he was not guilty of. Completely aware of the end from the beginning, yet the steps in between were not clear. Would he find people selling in the temple instead of praying? Would tears come to his eyes? Would someone show faith he was not expecting? Yes, all of these things happened.
He wasn't sent for Himself. He didn't die for himself. He didn't promise Abraham something but actually mean to promise something for Himself.
Once we believe he died to pay the price we could never pay ourselves, the price of sin, we receive the free gift and God is faith to forgive us, and then we are saved and justified by God. We testify of what we know and we all can then begin a new life in Christ. The walk of sanctification begins, sometimes brisk, sometimes with little steps where we may be stubborn, a little forward, maybe a little backward sometimes, but still justified and saved, nevertheless. It is God's love for us, that is why He came and died on a cross for us. So it's true, it not about us.. but we do have an important role to God as the objects of His love. Please remember that you are loved. Loved greater than anything you have known, felt, seen, or heard of.
Now, may you each have that Joy, Peace, and Confidence through the grace and freedom in Christ's work of salvation. You are loved and it is about you to God.
Unsure if you are saved?
The Lord wants no soul to perish. All are invited to receive the gift of salvation from sins through the blood shed on the cross that Jesus Christ was crucified. Call on the Lord today, and believe him, not once, not twice, but every single day. Soon you will be walking with Him. and His Holy Spirit will be your help. He is the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit: God.
Luke 15:4–7 (KJV) “What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
