Stacie is an American oil painter who grew up in the small town of Auburn, Michigan. Her interest in art began around age ten, inspired by local artists and craftsmen she visited regularly while walking or biking through her community. One of these artists introduced her to oil painting, sparking a lifelong connection to color, texture, and the expressive possibilities of the medium.
As a young artist, Stacie sketched constantly—designing dresses, imagining homes, and creating scenes that allowed her imagination to flourish. Over time, painting became not only a creative outlet but a place of quiet retreat. Her faith deepened, her priorities shifted, and painting evolved into a peaceful, reflective practice rooted in gratitude and her love for God.
Stacie works primarily with high‑quality oil paints, often using a palette knife to build rich texture and movement. Her work focuses on places that invite rest and reflection—cottages, rivers, waterfalls, flowers, sunsets, cityscapes, and quiet woodland trails. Each piece is created with the intention of bringing warmth, beauty, and a sense of place into the viewer’s home or workspace.
Her paintings have been featured in private shows and donated to numerous fundraising events, where they have helped support meaningful causes. Today, more than one hundred of her works can be found in private collections and businesses across Michigan, Ohio, Arizona, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and Florida. Collectors who own one of these early pieces are always welcome to reach out for a greeting or a letter of authenticity.
Outside the studio, Stacie enjoys time with her family, camping, road trips, and time spent with friends. Each new painting is approached with the hope of creating her best work yet—art that brings joy, decorative harmony, and lasting beauty to the spaces where it lives.
